The 7hr course gives a basic overview of NYC Building Code 33. Building Code 33 focuses on “Major Buildings” which are buildings with a lot space of over 100,000 square feet or over 125’ in height. The 7-hour course is required every 3 years for Site Safety Managers to renew their licenses, and for all construction Superintendents.

Site Safety Refresher Training Course Topics Covered
The City of New York Department of Buildings asks individuals who hold a Site Safety Manager’s license to accomplish a 7 hour refresher course on construction site safety every 3 years. Site Safety Refresher course presents an overview of New York City Building Code rules for new building construction; goes over the obligations of the site safety manager; and talks about the effective implementation of a site safety platform, as well as new revisions to Article 19.
