OSHA free informational workshop

The Iowa Workforce Development and Iowa City Employers Council of Iowa will host a free informational workshop covering general Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issues from 9:30 in the morning until 12:30 in the afternoon in the Coralville Public Library’s Schwab Auditorium this Tuesday.

Iowa OSHA’s Mike Whitmore will be the guest speaker and will introduce a platform about general OSHA regulations and rules.

This OSHA program has constituted for 3 hours of general credit toward GPHR, PHR and SPHR re-certification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).

Interested attendees are called to pre-register by Friday. Registration can also be sent through e-mails to Cary Stowe at Iowa Workforce Development.
